If you wanna catch mudpuppies, use a minnow trap filled with fish guts, Ive gotten up to 20 of them at a time, if they are in a pond, they will go nuts for this. Also fish eggs work really well, freeze them in the spring and use them for bait later in the year. Make sure when your put a trap out, leave at least one corner of it above water, cuz sallies will go in there to eat this stuff also, but if they cant get air, they will drown fairly quick, depending on water temps (dissolved O2 concentrations)....</p></blockquote><p></p>
