Pretty sad. Gotta keep an eye on that booze... that shits poison and I can certainly say I consumed far too much of it until I turned 40. Didn't seem normal to me for them to put words in the obituary like "losing battle with alcohol".

I am kind of glad they put that in there..makes a guy do some self reflection amd could maybe help somebody get help with it. Its the reality behind it and if it were to save one person it was probably a good thing.

I’ve seen way too many die from drinking. It’s a shame. My neighbor went a couple of years ago. The liver went bad and he kept it from everybody. Including his family. But everyone knew that he was going down the last year or so.
Most of my friends are alcoholics but they all sobered up. Thankfully.
