I really don't think you know how baiting actually works. In my area at least I have lots of experience baiting for a disabled archery hunt and I can tell you that in a 3-4 day hunt for 10-13 hunters that there are zero guarantees and most of your statements are not fully correct. Yes when an animal comes in it can (but not always) give a better shot angle or slow them down enough. Bucks are rarely shot, middle age to mature are super rare. Most of the people (including me) know how to find the best possible odds for location but are limited due to certain disabilities. The deer do not always read the script and do not always come in at the exact times like you claim. I've played the baiting game for myself at various times of years, used it for youth and for the disabled and there is by far not a sure thing. Sounds like you watch too much TV and either believe everything you see or manufacture the narrative you want without knowing the whole back story. Sure there are some that baiting works for but by in large I just have not seen that it is a "great tool", where I have seen it probably work better in some cases is when the population is at a much larger size and food competition is a little higher. I would love to know your opinion on baiting for black bear as that is a very very popular and widely accepted method, how about using bait for coyote or bobcat (rifle and trap), using bait for coon and skunk trapping? You can disagree and that's fine but it is the way you have posed yourself on a pedestal and being portraying yourself as being better than everyone else that I believe many on this form don't care for. Keep finding ways to cause division in the hunting space and opening cracks for the anti-hunting crowd to try to exploit, they are way more organized than all of us sportsmen and we are always playing defense from behind. Just look at Colorado the last 3-5yrs, if you don't think things like that can happen here you are very wrong
