Most dogs down there get it.  Hope the dogs muzzle doesn’t partly slough off in the days ahead!  Our prairie rattlers aren’t as toxic as the diamondbacks.  Mohove Greens are the worst but are uncommon. </p><p>Damned diamondbacks love to quietly lie on warm walking/ biking paths.  My wife and I rode our bikes past a big one a couple years ago.  Fairly safe on an upright bike but I was only inches above the ground on my back friendly 3 wheeled trike. Luckily my wife was ahead of me and saw it in time for me to hit the ditch!  Sloughing off one cheek from a snakebite would be a tough way to lose weight!  My ass might not look so big though.</p></blockquote><p></p>
