Starlink is great, had it for about a year at the new house until RTC was able to get fiber run up to the house. Didn't really have much for issues as far as streaming/normal usage goes. If you are a gamer, it may not be the greatest for FPS games or anything where a stable connection is a must. Not sure if it has changed since we got out fiber, but back when we had it there was the occasional drop in service that screwed up a game I was playing.. Don't know if this was because the dish was establishing a link to a new satellite or what. Other than that, SL was freaking great.
As was mentioned in post #4, SL did just announce a beta test beginning I believe today for T-Mobile users that basically turns your cell phone into a Satellite phone... no more dead spots.... anywhere... Even without cell service, you could theoretically turn on your Wifi calling and still make calls... if nothing else, you could at least use Facebook or any of the other SM services that have calling as an option to contact people with the StarLink service.
Will be interesting to see how The beta test goes...
