Message: <blockquote data-quote="Frosty...." data-source="post: 126054" data-attributes="member: 338"><p>Kurt, </p><p></p><p>I haven't heard anything from the Bettles area.  I got back last night from hunting the North side of Brooks off the Haul Road.  Slow is the going rate up there.  I saw maybe 40-50 bou in 7 days, mostly cows and calves.  I was fortunate and connected with a meat bull yesterday afternoon.</p><p></p><p>The weather has been great since Tuesday up there, temps in the 50s-mid 60s.  It is fall up that way though and I did see snow and freezing rain Sunday into Monday morning.  </p><p></p><p>Hopefully your buddies got dropped off ahead of some caribou!</p></blockquote><p></p>
