Same thing as the other pre paid cell service. At least when we had cell one, altell, and those other local cell phone provider we had competition now we have a monopoly. So AT&T was having problems with their data towers by churches ferry which was causing slow data, I called customer service several times wondering what was the deal at the time they had no clue what the problem was until more customers tried using their data plans that's how they found out it was a tower issue. So a tech support told me it was my grandfathered plan that was know longer compatible with the updated cell service. Customer support said that if I go into the local store and get a updated Sim card it should fix my problem. I did as i was suggested  it worked for about 20 minutes until the sim card detected I was using a different phone than what my plan was supported. I called back to be told that since I updated my Sim card I was no longer able to use my old plan. I was forced to take a more expensive plan with data allowed, the shifty part is my data plan was faster, was able to talk and surf the Web at the sametime, and was unlimited to boot. So I filed a complaint tellin them they should of never told me to get a different Sim card because it didn't fix the issue because it wasnt my grandfathered plan  but rather data towers. So yesterday I got a message saying that my claim was denied and a I wanted to file an appeal. That's why I am pissed at AT&T for their imcompentents.</blockquote>
