Then I bought a z10 that only took the micro and went into the engineering screen to access the apn to turn on just the GSM setting and it worked . I used that phone for awhile then on got a z30 which since I was able to activate the card previously to only use the 3g+ frequency. I was only able to tether with the torch 9830 trough the blackberry app which I avg 300 kbs. Which was plenty fast for me, I don't need cable or home Internet because I only watch my shows I want to watch through my free websites. I hope Verizon throttles me to 3g not 2g like AT&T does.</p><p></p><p><span style="color: silver"><span style="font-size: 9px">- - - Updated - - -</span></span></p><p></p><p>The downside is Samsung is not going to make notes any longer so I had to get the s7 which is smaller than my z30</p></blockquote><p></p>
