Message: <blockquote data-quote="Captainbrad" data-source="post: 173102" data-attributes="member: 320"><p>The exciting news around the Red the past couple years has been catching a tagged catfish from Manitoba.  Yesterday I joined the crew in charge of that study from University of Nebraska here in Grand Forks to help them catch fish so they could surgically implant GPS transmitters so we can track their movements and learn more about them.  It was great to watch and learn about how they do the surgery and hear what they hope to learn.  At the end one of the biologists caught a fish that the crew had tagged north of Selkirk, MB in 2014.  I attached the video.</p><p></p><p><a href="https://youtu.be/HvNFkExPH0w" target="_blank">https://youtu.be/HvNFkExPH0w</a></p></blockquote><p></p>
