In my mind, I was trying to figure out how cutting 2-4 inches off your barrel and then adding a suppressor was going to make your rifle lighter. Since I don't own but 3 rifles, and all of them are in that 7-8# range, more when I leave my bipod on, I'm pretty comfortable with that weight. Wouldn't mind having a Mountain Rifle as they are about a pound lighter than my traditional Rem 700's. I do pay attention to the weight of the scope I have on each of them. Other than that I think it would be better and easier for me to take the weight my body instead of my rifle.</p></blockquote><p></p>
