Message: <blockquote data-quote="arrowdem" data-source="post: 118838" data-attributes="member: 352">Got the parts off of the plasma table for my wood stove yesterday and went to work fabbing and welding on it.[ATTACH]6782[/ATTACH]here are all of the pieces that were cut off the table, i went with 7 gauge, which is plenty thick and plenty heavy but for what im doing its perfect seeing as how this tent will be just off the main road used as a base camp for hunting, i made the dimensions of the stove 26x16x16 for the total area inside of the stove and my 3" stove pipe hole on the top.[ATTACH]6783[/ATTACH]here is the beginning of the door, we used rod and pip and some flats to fab up a couple heavy duty hinges for the door, i made sure and i have a 1 inch over lap on the door on all sides so that i can get in 1/2" by 1/8" high temp gasket material to seal up the door to keep from smoke escaping.[ATTACH]6784[/ATTACH]this is the beginning shell of the stove, i welded in a long baffle and bent up the edge and welded that solid i left a 2" gap on the door side of the baffle so the smoke has to travel to whole length of the stove to make it more efficient, i also left a 2" gap from the top of the baffle to the top plate of the stove, it makes for a very even very big cooking surface on the top of the stove which will be very handy.[ATTACH]6785[/ATTACH]here is a picture showing the stove hole with the baffle inside of it. [ATTACH]6786[/ATTACH]here is the finalized product, the door latch i just fabbed up some flats to lock into eachother and for both the air flow adjustment and for the door latch i put springs on the bolts to help keep it tight and secure to keep it from leaking smoke..i did my first burn on this yesterday and there were no leaks it retained heat very well and burned good, once i get the seals for the door get the stove pipe in so i can finish the top of the stove and fab up some folding legs she will be all done and ready to heat the tent![ATTACH]6787[/ATTACH][ATTACH]6789[/ATTACH]</blockquote>
