Message: <blockquote data-quote="PrairieGhost" data-source="post: 263548" data-attributes="member: 704"><p>In high school during Christmas break I had drove through some deep snow to get to an old abandoned farm that always had cottontails.  I had never walked past the old house and snow had banked up deep on the west side.  As I walked around that side the ground dropped out from under me.  The snow had banked over the uncovered opening of an old water cistern.  The old bolt action 22 Marlin hung up on both sides.  I'm not good at pull ups, but I came out of that hole fast.  I looked back in to see many bones.  I don't know if they were raccoon or what, but there would have been no way out.  The sides sloped  outward and it looked ten or twelve feet deep.  I didn't tell anyone where I was going, and my white car wasnt that visible in the snow and trees.</p></blockquote><p></p>
