Things I see make me sad: Using 1A destroy itself needs debate in Congrefs and official amendment: DJ just brought home a hostage from Russia wearing an American Flag "scarf". This is a "no go": As the "women" and "minorities" say: Stop the ignorance.

I get it, I really do, but "support and defend the Constitution" means dumbasses and retards too. My opinion might change really quick on burning the flag if I ever see it happen in person.

I will start with the statement that nobody has the freedom to hurt others. Aside from that, freedom can be a difficult thing. The truest test of a man/woman who supports freedom IMO, is when that man/woman is asked to defend someones freedom to do that which they despise. We have freedom FOR all or we have none AT all. There is no grey area IMO. For it is in that "grey area" where freedom is extinguished by those who seek absolute control and domination.

My flags after torn or tattered have always been and always will be given to a Legion or VFW for burning. I will NEVER EVER burn my country's flag for any other reason.

What if your county becomes so corrupt and evil that it violates your liberty to the point they try killing you? Never say Never

I said NEVER and mean NEVER
Ok you may not, but would you ever support someone else who's beliefs parallel yours and is fed up and under threat? Would you support their actions if it ever got that bad?

I just asked you a simple question. I also stay out of other business. So I support their constitutional right to protest under the 1st amendment, EVEN IF I DON'T AGREE WITH THEM. IF someone who I supported burned a flag in protest, I'd pay attention to what they were saying to see if they just snapped or I agree with them. It's a bold statement to me, and I've yet to agree with anyone doing it that I've seen or read about, but I think we infringe on our very liberties to deny anyone their rights.

There may come a day where we all need to burn the flag in protest!
Try telling that to someone that has or is serving. There are many other ways.
We lost a hell of alot of good people defending "Our" Flag.

I'd would have a severe risk of being charged with assault and battery if I ever came across a flag burner. I have yet to personally see this. I pray I never do. I don't really know how I would react.
I feel exactly the same in that regard. Those fkn a-holes who are doing it are anti-American and support terrorists and even our enemies.

I have a question? Did anyone else have flag raising and lowering duties in grade school? If I remember it was either 5th or 6th grade and we had a class to learn how to properly accomplish this duty. Furthermore, everybody had assigned days to do it throughout the entire school year and you got in trouble if you screwed up like letting it touch the ground.

Not at school but did it for the Legion BB games in the summer many times.
