I drop my ulterra, set it around 3-5 power level and steer with that with the kicker locked in forward. Catch a fish, tap the idle button on the itroll while the Ulterra maintains line tension and direction for the other lines while I reel in the fish. works great....................</p><p></p><p>I've always had tiller kickers and some without any type of throttle control and there is no good way to fine tune speed trying to twist the handle and get it locked into a specific throttle position, especially in the 1.5 to 2.5 mph range where most baits are trolled with a kicker.</p></blockquote><p></p>
