Message: <blockquote data-quote="628977" data-source="post: 321199" data-attributes="member: 3108"><p>I have some stuff that is paid off and some that I am ok with making payments on.  Why not enjoy life the way you want if its financially available to you.  Why wait until your retired years or hope you even make it to retirement age?  I think its just fine to make payments if its in your budget instead of taking money out of savings just to say you have an item paid off that is eventually going to fall apart anyways.  Why not make the payments now to enjoy life the way you want and instead take the extra savings or monthly income and invest it other ways.  I personally would rather have the money in the bank than have an item paid off.  If you do it right theres alway a way to offload the items you have on credit and if you do it right its just like renting that item.</p></blockquote><p></p>
