I have done 10 other euro mounts but never one with velvet on the horns. I have the velvet preservation taken care of with a velvet tan embalming fluid stuff. My question is, will the heat from the boiling water mess up the velvet? Anyone have any experience with making a euro mount with a velvet buck? I read on the internet that some people say just to simmer the water and not boil and it turns out fine and others that say you have to cut off the horns, boil the head then reattach it.  Thanks for any input</p></blockquote><p></p>
