Message: <blockquote data-quote="snow2" data-source="post: 398144" data-attributes="member: 7990"><p>Same here,buddy prays for snow every night,he's  a true powder hound,deeper the better,these guys pay close attention  to these  huge weather  fronts hoping for the biggest and best...these guyz hit the mtn ( bridger bowl) at day break after  a big dump,they set explosive  charges along the peaks above ski area (avalanche  control)</p><p></p><p>Just south of Bozeman, Jackson hole, not sure if Jackson's  ski area still uses the ww2 hardware for avi cotrol....155 howie mid mountain  they can hit the entire mountain  peaks over shadowing  ski area.</p><p></p><p>Im amazed  ppl can afford to ski these days,costs.</p><p></p><p>My younger days lift tickets averaged $7 -$10/day,today $150 at our major western resorts,eat lunch  on the mountain, expect a $50 bill for a burger and beer.</p></blockquote><p></p>
