[QUOTE="Paddledogger, post: 121293, member: 2876"] Relations between the state the tribal governments is strained or ruined already to the point it will take years to rebuild. What the vast # of protestors don't understand is that we, the majority, understand the need for pipelines. And that they the minority in #'s are trying to control everything. There are already hundreds of pipelines that cross rivers all over the country. I get their message "water is life" or necessity to live. But they need to understand that water can be cleaned, filtered treated with purifying chemicals and reused as drinking water. For them to claim sovereign nation off the reservation....I don't think so. I say get all the law enforcement you can, tell them to either disband, move their camp and all protest with in the boundary of the SRR or they will be bused to a camp of tents with fences and consentina wire until Dakota Access company come in and work 24/7 to get the job done. If they choose to go to camp on SRR and leave to protest on Access property or disrupt, they automatically go to tent city with no TV, guaranteed only 1 hot meal and a port-a-pot. During my military basic training of 13 weeks, we had no daily TV. I think we go 1 weekend to watch it during 4th of July. We marched our butts all over the base. Military only guarantees 1 hot meal a day. Had several meals of eating C-rations and some MRE's. Being able to voice a protest is a "privileged right" in the land of the free, if done according to the laws. I just with Tribal Chairman Archambault understood this. I know they are not bonding out of jail because they just want to make the county and state pay and for Dakota Access to loose as much as possible. I just hope we all remember this for years to come and to make it hurt the tribe as well by BOYCOTTING and not going to the Prairie Knights Casino, concerts there or Archambault's convenience store he owns. Don't ask the feds to help. The feds will not get involved because they are just trying to keep relations with them, as the FBI has responsibility of being a big part of tribal law enforcement for most major crimes from what I understand.
