And even though it has so much land to offer, Wyoming is the least populated state in the country. So, it may not come as a surprise that the largest landowner in Wyoming is not an individual but the government. Here’s how much land the United States federal government owns in Wyoming.</p><p></p><p></p><h2>The Largest Landowner in Wyoming</h2><p>Considering the amount of public land, mineral estate, and historic trails, it makes sense that the United States federal government is the largest landowner in Wyoming.
