I used an ultrasonic cleaner on my baffles for a while it worked ok. There were still big chunks of carbon that wouldn’t come off. I bought a cheap rock tumbler from harbor freight and wet tumbled them with stainless steel media and a bit of dish soap. After a few hours tumbling they come out...
I’ve had the same issue with the one I bought It’s really frustrating, I don’t even have mine in the field anymore. I emailed them a while back with no response yet. Ive heard their customer service in really bad
I completely agree with you. I ordered the 4.0 in mid November this year I recently got an email saying mine was received by the ATF on January 25 so it took over 2 months for mine. On the other hand I have the varmiter 3.0 and really like it.
I have both augers you mentioned and I really like both of them. The kdrill is fast cutting and light weight which is really nice. For me I like the kdrill when the ice is 15” or less. The main downfall with using a kdrill is when it’s cold out you have to keep the lithium batteries warm or...
I was was looking at the eagle claw case as well. It shows for shipping dimensions that it is 43” long. Can I ask how long the case actually is? I’m looking for something I can get a 40” rod into. Most cases seem to be 34”-36”.
I have the Benjamin trail 1500 .177. I used it as my trapping gun I have no problems dispatching coyotes with it. I usually just take one shot to the head I have tried lung shots and with certain pellets you will get complete pass throughs.
Id say there's a good chance that shot will make sportscenter top 10. I'd say there's also a good chance the kid that about blew his knees out in celebration will make the not top 10
When we were up there the 3rd week in January we stayed at the canalta in Selkirk. The first night a group of guys had a sled house stolen out of the back of their pick up they never touched anything else that was strapped down
I enjoy doing some wood working. I like to turn duck/goose calls and pens on my lathe. I also like Finding burls from trees and processing them. You can find some amazing looking wood out there
There are some pick ups diving on but they are limited in some areas. There are quite a few areas where the ice broke up when it was 15-18" thick and created some big ice piles The atvs without tracks are getting to most places the snow is hard enough to dive over with them.
