Looking at the 10 day forecast (which seems to be wrong 99% of the time) we have a lot of sunny 60 degree days in the next 10 days. It looks like southern Canada will have similar conditions so if that forecast holds true we could have at least a couple weeks before things get real crazy.
I like the system, I have been fortunate, and drawn a buck tag 2 years in a row, I would be happy (sort of) to go a year or two to get another one. It all has to do with what is fair, and I think this is the best use of the situation.
I didn't fill either of my whitetail doe tags, but I filled my any deer youth tag with a mule deer doe and my 3a2 buck tag the next year, I love the youth season. Even if you don't fill it it is the experience that matters.
Well I've been hunting south of medora and we saw 4 bulls 2 days in a row, a spike a 5x5 a huge 6x6 and a 6x6 with a broken antler right off a rarely traveled road less than 100 yards, one morning and afternoon. (I have a cow tag)
