    Looking for

    There’s no spaniel in them anymore. They are just called Brittany’s now. I wish I could have some pups but I fixed my brittany. 4th year hunting with her this year and it was a blast. Such a great breed of bird dog!

    Seen 10 dead ones over the weekend. 6 were does the other 4 were bucks. A couple of really nice ones too. Made me sick to my stomach. 3a3 down on the lake shore.

    Teaching “soft mouth” retrieving

    What about using frozen birds? I heard that is supposed to help with hard mouth. I put a couple my dog chewed on to much to eat this year in the freezer and have been using them in retrieving exercises. Not sure if it’s helping yet. Soft squeaky toys are no good either.

    Do soybeans kill birds?

    I was wondering what happened when a bird fills up on beans and then they beans expand in there stomachs. Just a thought. The more soybeans I see the less I see pheasants. Sean some dead ones along the way too.

    Jig molds

    Lee pots are great. Can't go wrong with do-molds. Tjs tackle has lots of powder paint a guy can pick from and it's easy to work with and it is good paint. Just need to get the lead out.
