This is at the top of my list for 2017...not because of the quality but what the photo signifies with a daughter’s first deer and a landowner’s extreme generosity.
Took my daughter to the Ft. Stevenson state park youth fishing tournament this summer. She wanted to fish the AIM circuit with me but only being 6 she was just a little young to start there. So she settled for a 2.3lb smallmouth and 2nd place overall for biggest fish. Best part is she wizzed that slip bobber hard off the dock while standing next to 3 older girls and they chcukled a little at her (which I did also). Next thing I know her bobber goes down and I am trying to land an energetic smally and hopefully not losing it causing a meltdown of emotions. That was the first fish in 2.5 hours that day for us. She still talks about it and has become a lip ripping machine this summer. I can't wait to see what this next year brings.
Great pics!! Rizz, sweet fishing partner,.good friend started his boy @ 8yrs fishing the AIM tournies, they actually won the team championship that year,so your goodluck charm will be your horseshoe I tell ya,lucky man.Keep us posted if she stay's focused on fishing.
