Block ice

Does anybody know a place that sells 10lb ice blocks in the bismarck/Mandan area?

Lincoln Cenex had some last week, they don't carry a lot. Not sure how much you are looking for. If I get there in next day or so will let you know if they have any. In the past I Bought a cart full at Cash Wise in Bismarck, they had a bunch in the ice cream cooler area, you could call them and check if they have have any.

I tried something over the Labor Day weekend....I filled vacuum sealer bags with water and froze / re-froze them. I cut them to the exact length of my cooler so they didn't slide around. I made sure they fit in the garage freezer too.

It's a two-person job to seal them because of the weight, but it worked great.

Frozen gal milk jugs, got water as needed when thawing. Win win !

who supplies the ice in Bismarck area ? you maybe able to contact them direct for your needs, or depending on their delivery schedule may also be able to get a store to order them for you a couple of 160 quart coolers is a decent sized order it would be worth their time and effort
