I went out to watch for coyote this morning. The guy evidently dropped in about 150 yards from where I usually sit. They were about 40 yards from shore. Goofy they set up in the channel, but I guess they had to because ten yards either direction put them in about three feet of water. The hole still has not froze over.

I have often surmised that active fish feeding near bottom create dirty water in many situations.
