Stupidest thing I’ve ever heard of. If you’re going to trash-can a gun, you need alternating dark/light backdrop. Gotta wreck it in 3D.

I used automotive paint and Krylon webbing and automotive clear coat ( 4 coats ) then hit it with 0000 steel wool to take the shine off.

It is very durable paint.
