I have a 10+ year old Stowmaster - it's been great but it's gosh awful heavy for my little arm when fishing alone.

Maybe new models are much lighter?

And GO. Recommendations?

I know where you are coming from. I bought the cheap net with the silver handle and green netting and inserted a broom handle in the end. It's light and long and is good for everything except a large northern or salmon. Left it in the boat holder and caught a tree while trailering and could not stand to be without it. Took awhile to find a replacement as it needs to be the round handled model to accommodate the round broom handle.

...maybe a EGO Medium PVC 29" Handle S2 Slider Net … I haven’t held one but with a PVC handle has to be fairly lite… Hoop size: 19"L x 17"W. Bag depth: 16" flat bottom….you don’t really catch big fish anyways…

which nets have the handle shaped so it hooks your forearm for extra leverage?

I know you are the poster every time I look at your threads. You receive infinite wisdom from NDA and so does everyone else from your questions.

I'm no help on the thread.

buy the frabill conservation series and one of them "back saver" snow shovels. Marry the two somehow and you'll be the envy of all solo boat fisherman.

Solo? You unfriend wags?

I know this is a funny dig but I actually fish alone more than with gal, wags, etc. I really find it to be a recharge for the batteries.

have one for panfish

this net should be banned - your chances of hooking the netting with the fish spines or hooks are 99.9999%
