Losing a parent...

Sorry to hear of your loss - you will remember him/your loss forever ... I do for mine. Remember the good times with him and put away anything else. He probably made you who you are more than anyone else in your life.

My father died in '71 when I was 26 and he never saw 3 of his 4 grandkids. He was a HS teacher and a HS football and track coach for my brother and I. I will always miss him (and my Mom who died in '10) but life goes on.

Wife's Mom is still with us at 91 and we rented an apartment in Minot so she can go there this winter and see her more. Wish I had done that with my Mom. Don't take your parents/grandparents for granted. They'll be gone before you know it.

The kids and I are huge Vikings fans....we needed some positivity after this week. We are convinced Grandpa shoved that Saints safety into his own guy to spring Diggs....
