Hi everyone, still no sign of Chad on lake Sakakawea. We have contacted another search agency similar to Bruce's Legacy. They are professionally trained in water recovery. Does anyone know the depth of the water around the casino area? How about current speed and water temp around June 11? Also temp on bottom? I know this is a lot but there are a lot of scientifics that go into this. These people worked the Natalie Hallowell case. Thanks again for keeping a lookout. They say sunrise and sunset are the times when they rise due to water temps changing. I appreciate any info. The search continues. Prayers you catch a lot out there!!! This is off the game and fish's website with the deepest spot being 55 feet but not sure what elevation they are basing it on and needless to say the contour lines are fairly half ass.

water is pretty deep now all over. there are a lot of old trees/stumps down stream from the casino especially in the west third of the river. Could easily end up down there in the trees with the amount of water coming into the system right now.

Still no sign, hoping the upcoming weather will change things. We are also looking into another search party. A boat similar to Keith's Legacy trained in water recovery. Thanks for all your help. Please keep spreading the word about Chad. We are unsure when he will surface due to depth and water temp. Please keep a lookout. He was last seen in the area of the casino. This was not a witnessed drowning so nobody really knows. Thanks again and please contact authorities if you see something. I will let you know if things change. Good Luck and be safe out there!

To all of the people searching, providing food, lodging and just saying a prayer we can't tell you how much it means to us. We are praying this time he will be found. Hi all, My cousin Chad is still missing. We are on day 29. My uncle is a disabled vet and Chad was his only son. Please continue to keep a lookout for anything suspicious on your sonars or in the water. He was supposedly last seen near Four Bears. This was an unwitnessed drowning so there are many rumors and speculations. He could be anywhere. We haven't stopped searching just needed to regroup. We truly appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers. Please call authorities if you see anything. Be safe out there.

Just a quick check in: We have not yet found or recovered Chad. We are unsure if he is still under or gone down the river. Sorry if this is graphic to some. Still just asking if you see anything near the shoreline or in the water shorts, shirt, jet ski plug, camo hat. Please let authorities know. We have no parameters to search and right now we are back in Michigan. We appreciate all the prayers and kind words. Sorry this is repetitive we would just like to bring him home. Be safe out there. Dont ever be sorry or afraid to bump this thread to the top daily if thats what it takes for people to keep the awareness and remember to stay on the look-out; it never gets repetitive to us in the least.

Thanks everyone you have all been so wonderful with prayers and comments. I just feel at this point whoever finds Chad will not be looking for him. We have been told it is unlikely he is still underwater but possible due those rare cases. We haven't given up but unfortunately don't have the means or finances to stay away from our jobs and responsibilities here. My uncle is trying to get back out there and feels he has left him in the lake. We are working on trying to get back and keep searching for him. That lake is so vast and deep it is difficult at best which you all know. Thanks so much for keeping your eyes on the water for him. I wish I could express in words what it means to us.
