Question on jigs

I don't bake my jigs after I paint them. I seem to lose the jig before the unbaked paint comes off and baking makes getting the eye cleaned up a real PAIN as compared to the unbaked paint which chips out of the eye quite easily with an eye buster.

Punch the tip of a hook through the eye while the powder paint is still soft. It pushes out a nice little plug that you can grab with your fingers and pull out.

Easy I buy them at dakota and there is no paint in the eye to deal with in the first place.
