Has anyone fished out of one? Are they the real deal?

I fished out of one only one time. I wasn't overly impressed. Tight quarters for two people. Got around in fairly deep snow though. Only way I would even think about one is if I lived right on Devils Lake or Lake of the Woods or someplace like that where I could drive from my backyard onto the ice. Otherwise in addition to the cost of the unit a person would have to get a large trailer. I'm fine with my Clam flipover.

If a guy was to have one, I feel like it would completely eliminate the weather factor. Could just get in the truck and go when/where you wanted. Wouldn't mind finding a decent used one. I know a new one is north of $80K 🤮

Don't think they would fare very well in the slush. You need some ponies to get you out of the shit. Been there with Atv. Have had to chop ice from the trks to get it to move again after a few hrs of fishing. In garage 3 times already this yr thawing it out. Bad year for slop out there, water was coming up thru the ice cracks everywhere.
