Sure do talking about them on way back was thread, snows will hold out till water opens and some of this white stuff melts here in central ND
You said every thing being froze was hard on them. That makes it sound like they stayed and dealt with the weather.

Lincoln, kinda...
BTW, I have not seen snow geese over my place as of yet, but lots of Honkers in the sky over Lincoln as of late. My pond is still frozen over with no visible water, so as of now there has been no squabbles in the backyard for nesting rights. That's like one of the greatest things to watch come spring at my place.

In the past week I've seen a lot of geese in the Yates area, both snows and Canada. Watched a bunch of Canada geese on the ice yesterday.

We haven’t seen a single snow goose down here yet.

The ones I seen were flying high heading north about a week ago. All the ones flying around and sitting on ice were Canada.

Haven’t heard much of anything for bird flu. Small cases like every year so far

With everything frozen and snow pack so bad the birds coming now are going to not have fun, seeing lots of big hookers last few weeks. Snows better hang south for awhile

Yep, 50 degrees and sun this time of year will make sheet water in a hurry and that's all they need.

They used loaders to make paths of 3ft high lanes, then had two Bobcats with PTO driven blowers attached throwin it up on top… over and over again. It’s a rather impressive pyramid and no longer a mass pile.
