James Madison makes a good point. If they are so concerned with our data, why haven't they done anything to Zuckerberg or Musk? Those two dudes have the same level of access to us as Tik Tok, they can track us in real time through their apps, so why no ban on FBook, Insta, or The App Formerly Known as Twitter? Is it because the US Gov isn't able to put the squeeze on the owners of Tik Tok to give them info on users like they can with Zuck and Elmo?
