You guys make me laugh. With all clothing, sprays, electronic gizmos, and other garbage hunters buy to control their scent, most of you guys go out of your way to consume foods that CREATE scent. LOL!! Have a great season fellas!!!

Best sammitch, Ring of last years deer sausage cooked and ground in food processor, mixed with miracle whip and a little mustard, layer of lettuce, slice of American cheese on fresh buttered bread. You are what you eat.:;:thumbsup

we always kept it simple...

whatever meat you wanted, seasoned and packed raw with some butter, double wrapped in heavy duty tin foil, then into labeled freezer ziplocks and into the cooler... always cooked on red hot coals in the fire along with an opened can of canned potatoes and another can of beans or veggies... now days, an instant read thermometer poked through the foil will save overdone meat... the leftovers went into the cooler for the next days lunch...

i still love cooking this way and still do it once in a while... something bout cooking right on wood coals...
