Not a bad idea. My phone would die too fast tho. Not a fan of having to keep it plugged in, somehow, all day.

I've got the iBobber I use occasionally with my kayak and it's pretty handy sometimes. Still should try it on the ice. I'm going to do my best not to buy this one but now that I've heard about it I won't promise anything. #icegearismoreaddictivethancrackiveheard.

this one would be nice for ice fishing...

back to the first one... me being one who still mostly TALKS on his smart phone, i have a question... using the one for the boat (first one), would running that be like running video all day as far as battery usage, and how long would your average phone or tablet run the app in summer temps???

anyone tried this one???
