Check out this video to see how fish love shorting lining deep diving crankbaits. Just a lazy day out on the shallow flats and flooded grass finding an occasional big fish. The method I have found that works the best for the big fish are using the biggest baits I have in the boat, deep diving cranks. If you’re in 4 feet of water, you aren’t going to be needing to use lead core or anything special. At the most, metered line helps a little when you want to really button down the depth that works the best.
