Vegetation and crank bait doesn’t usually work well. If you can figure out the depth and keep it above and/or alongside the vegetation, you’ll find them come out of the woodwork to take a swipe at what you have to offer. This day got me a limit of fish and a dandy of a kicker to go with them for looks. The real beauty of it all, I didn’t even have to start the main motor to catch all these fish.
