It has been a spell since I’ve been on the open water. October maybe? November? I’d have to check the tape to know for sure. Brett Bloemendaal said it’s time to get back in the saddle, so I said, “Absolutely!” We took a ride to Deepwater and it didn’t disappoint, unless you didn’t come away with a 29-incher like Brett had the day before. He released it in that same spot, but we couldn’t find her today. Most of her cousins came out to play and they were biggins in my book. It was a blast getting back in the groove and finding our sea legs. The Boys Are Back!
