Yep, cow moose..............
Congratulations on your draw what unit are you in. I decided I wanted to hunt moose in ND sometime in my lifetime so switched to putting in for cow back in 01. Didn't draw for almost tens years since the odds were still often at 10 to 1 or more but finally got it. The hunt due to crazy hot weather was a real hunt and took three days but finally the weather broke (as did the drought) on the third day and I found a cow with five bulls in a standing sunflower field. The farmers wife was about to say no about going in after her in the field till she heard me say the number 5 relating to the number of bulls fighting for her and then it was please shoot her and do you need any help! The story gets crazy after that and a truck bed full of memories that made the next couple hours a blur of fun that antlers in the end wouldn't have added much to. She now rests on the wall mounted in a way that will snuggle up to a bull I will hopefully put next to her some day.

Yes one unit, M9. I would like to see what you did for a mount Dean

Unfortunately she's in my version of taxidermy purgatory. which means being relegated to a spare bedroom so it's extremely difficult to get an actual good shot of her since she's way too big for the space she's in. I had him turn her up and to the right to look more or less like she was sniffing the bull/snuggling up too. He didn't curve her as much as I wanted but it will do. Pics arnt great but best I can get in such a tight place.
