Had a young lady hunting on my place yesterday with deer showing up for the past 4 days straight with an hour of shooting light left. Guess what showed up when she and her Dad were in the blind? Nada, Zero, Zip, The Doughnut, ye ole goose egg. Ugh!!!!!!!! On the bright side, 6 minutes after legal light the whole crew waltzed right up and posed for the camera while my little lady was headed back to the truck. Disappointed doesn't even scratch the surface of how I feel. Grrrr.

KDM: That's why they call it hunting. Too bad for the young hunter. Thank you for the access to your land for them to hunt.
Yeah I know. Just kind of tough to see that little ladies face sitting in that truck cab. The chess match isn't over yet though. The game continues.............

Me and my 13 year old son sat Friday and Saturday evening. Friday all we saw was bucks. Saturday evening was all does with this one presenting him a 200 yard shot and he drilled her. We had a good buddy of his with us which was the cherry on top! They were both so pumped! 3 rifle does killed now by him and onto his true youth tag next fall.

My son has a Youth tag in 4D. Camped South of Medora for three days. Had opportunities at does and small bucks but he is set on harvesting a nice buck. Was hot out but a great weekend out in away from people! Headed back for round two this weekend.
