I’m sure excited for opener. Can’t wait for the traffic, tore up section lines and garbage in the ditch. #thisshouldfireupthesportsmen. Sportsmen should be in quotations.

I'm excited too! How about all of us hunters are respectful of other hunters and the landowners out there. Don't be a dickhead please!!

I hate to rain on your parade, but you are only going to get 1/3 of the traffic, garbage and tore up roads that you used to get thanks to low tag numbers. And depending on what unit you are in, you can only blame landowners since all tags went to gratis. Have a great season!

Blame it on the "roaming" gratis tag holders, sure as heck very few non landowner's drew tags. I am headed to the dreaded state that we border to the east so i will miss out once again on the ND opener. MN has treated me good. OTC buck tag for $192. Plenty of deer and opportunity. I almost threw up typing a positive remark about MN.

If I wanted to enjoy hunting deer and harvesting deer, I would go one more state east. Wisconsin. Non res tag for rifle, archery, or crossbow is $200 with extra doe tags for $20. Them boys can take 15 deer if they want in certain areas. A week in wisconsin with a pocketful of doe tags sounds like an enjoyable way to spend a week. It's sad that sconis come here to fish and nodakers have to go there or another state to hunt deer. Something stinks in river city. Carry On!

Oh and keep in mind that wisconsin is one of the states that went "scorched earth" on their deer herd in the name of CWD control and they still have a deer herd so big that the have OTC rifle tags and out of staters can buy as many as they want. Ironic isn't it?

Dude got lost and hunted on private land by mistake. 8 guys with guns surrounded him yelling profanities and being aggressive. Who's at fault? The little guy that got lost and made a mistake or the 8 gun toting aggressive hunters? Saw a landowner here recently loose his mud over some guys hunting too close to his corn field. Context has value.

Where’s your land? I’ll be sure to do yours first. You’re welcome.

That’s bullshit my brother knew one of the guys who got killed and it wasn’t just some random wandering in. Context matters and having first hand accounts also matters.

If it were an accident or if he had been legitimately in fear of his life, Chai Soua Vang wouldn't have been convicted of murdering SIX people.

FWIW, he passed away in prison earlier this summer after serving 24 years of a combined 6 life sentences.

What's bullshit Kurtr? I merely stated what the record shows. Vang was confronted by 8 men in the woods who lined up against him with aggressive shouts and slurs. Weapons on both sides. What did I say that was bullshit?

Only one of the hunters had a weapon. Vang was walking away and then turned around and started to shoot. He followed some unarmed hunters trying to escape, shooting them in the back. I should pull up one of the articles. It is gruesome.
