    Hunting Islands

Holy shit ,give me a second to comprehend that mess of a reply.. I'm not sure the last time you spent a minute out in the western states, but its not exactly little house on the prairie out there anymore. You wont find any billionaire landowners on the Blue river, out shooting pool at the...

    Hunting Islands

Sorry, but your fairy tale idea of establishing a relationship with one of these landowners over a beer at the local bar doesn't exist. Very, very few of these land owners are small town type ranchers. They are wealthy out of staters who visit once a year at most and simply hire ranch...

    Hunting Islands

Honestly, I've asked this question. They consider this incidental contact.

Again. Water is public and floating in both of these states is 100% legal. Touching bottom on private ground is not. A lot of places including the Blue are very difficult to access to float and/or float and not touch bottom so this is where the "private water" interpretation comes from. The...

    Hunting Islands

Incorrect. Though landowners in all waterways in WY and Colorado own the bottom, It is legal to float any body of water in WY or CO as long as you enter and exit on land you have permission to be on and that you, any part of your boat, or your anchor do not touch bottom on any private ground...

NDGF wont ever tell you what the actual laws are when it comes private/private property. They must all be told one Day 1 of employment to just say "It's best to ask permission...to be on the safe side"

    Hunting Islands

Not if its non navigable body or water. Anchoring is considered contact and you are trespassing. I took this question all the way up to the state's attorney at one time when everyone at the G and F gave me a wishy-washy answer.

Google "North Dakota navigable waters" and there's a PDF that lists all the navigable waters at this time. Beaching, hanging out or hunting below the high water mark on navigable rivers is all the same. It's legal.

    Lithium Deep Cycle Batteries

    This should help explain. https://au.renogy.com/blog/100w-solar-panels-complete-guide-renogy/#:~:text=for%20more%20details.-,Can%20a%20100W%20solar%20panel%20charge%20a%20100Ah%20battery%3F,2%20days%20to%20charge%20fully.

    Lithium Deep Cycle Batteries

Hate to break it to you but a 100 watt panel is not charging a dead 100 amp battery in 5 hours. More like 2 days. In full sun.

    Lithium Deep Cycle Batteries

Your fridge was likely running on propane not 12v battery power. (Other than to run the circuit board ,temp control etc.) An RV fridge will eat a battery in absolutely no time at all.

    Pickup toppers

Both of my pickups have toppers. I'll never own another without one. Security, don't have to worry about stuff blowing out, Keeps the weather/snow off everything, and unlike the Tahoe I once owned the stinky dogs, muddy decoys and other dirty, smelly stuff stays out of the cab. And like a...

    Wyoming all you can kill

"..That means the federal government controls 46.7 percent of the land in the state." Bullshit. we all know that a large percentage of public land in WY is landlocked and CONTROLLED by private landowners

    The Hook

I'm not sure the Cenex in New town has bait anymore. The Van Hook travel center east of New town usually has bait otherwise the United quality gas station/lumberyard/grocery store/dairy queen north of town carries it (though they are hit or miss with minnows sometimes)
