    Boarding ladder oprions?

In an emergency, don't forget you can use the motor tilt to lift someone into the boat. I've had to use this- foot on the cavitation plate - stand with stiff leg. Like pushing a whale over the transom.

    .177 air rifle

I went with a .22 caliber air rifle to stay subsonic and to help keep the pellet more stable in flight. OK killing power at 25 yds for small critters and still more safe shooting around neighbourhood. Extra speed of .177 doesn't make up for more mass of .22 .

    Drotto boat trailer latch

Warrior 193- took some adjusting, but great for those of us with grey hair. Makes loading and unloading much safer!

    Trailer bunk slicks

Check out Gatorbak from Claramont MN. I got tired of sand and pieces of plant ground into carpet. I installed clear bunks and added LED light strips for night loading. The water gushes out of the channels as you leave the ramp- no more wet carpet. Good guys to work with.

Looking to buy a quality meat slicer for home use. I looked at some lower priced units and am not sure they would stand up to even home use. Need some suggestions and your experiences with slicers. Thanks.

    Portable Grill Recommendations

Weber Q as well. Bought the cheaper version without temperature in the lid- drilled hole and added thermometer -- much better.

Have had several brands, Access has been hands down the best. Well worth the extra cost.

    Liver and onions.

Try par boiling in salt water for a minute before frying. Any blood or bile is removed, pat dry and prepare like the above mentioned recipes. The sharp flavors and the burps are removed. First introduced to this in deer camp by a Finlander and have done it since.

    Troll Master Depth Calculator App

Does any one have experience with this phone APP? Had a Precision Trolling book, got it wet and the pages all stuck together. Price is part of my decision,

    Frozen in Ice Castle ideas?

Electric jack hammer, cut a channel away from the house and create a sump area with small pump? Warm weather should allow better results, you might need to keep area covered to avoid quick refreeze. Iced a small house a long time ago (younger), took almost 2 days of spud bar. Good luck.

What do you use for a slip Bobber rig

Nothing special as to rod set up- more in the rigging. Slip bobber fished with my Dad in Devils Lake and needed to clean up the process or go broke. Dad couldn't see real well in his later years so a larger more vertical bobber was needed, and they were a bit more expensive and he could snag...

    Greedy Thursday/ Thanksging

Again I am disappointed to see retailers opening on Thanksgiving for the chance at your holiday dollars. Thanksgiving has been a great family holiday where we get to enjoy a day of family and friends with a variety of traditions. I can decide not to darken their doors, but the employees of...

    Dog Bed question

Common problem. I took the fun out of it- thrift store blankets cut into 8x10 chunks. She still plays with them, but I feel better knowing she has some bedding in the box.

    Breathable waders-HELP

My waders have seen the end, and I am looking for comfortable dry roomie waders. Thought I was ready to order before I read the lousy reviews on my selected brand. Expensive and still leak? I like the sound of breathable for flexibility and comfort. Any suggestions?
