    Garden!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been thinking on having a couple big straw bales run through one of those hay grinders and then till it in, in the fall. I do leave my sweet corn stalks stand over winter and then in the spring I use an old set of blades in my zero turn and mulch them up. I was amazed at how well the carrots in...

Price of land just keeps going

Just think about the gains tax people have to pay. My folks sold their last qt of land and got per acre what they paid for the whole qt when they bought it. Like my dad said "made all that hard work worthwhile" until uncle sam got his cut.

    Euthanize a pet...

The vet, and the shot, you stay with them and talk and comfort them while they go to sleep. Its hard but if you love them. And I got all those little boxes of dust that gets mixed with mine and then gets put in the happy place with only gps # cause who cares 50 years from now. LB

    Marine electronics

Was in Gander Mountain back when they were new to area and was looking for some new electronics and there was like a 9 year old kid playing with their demo stuff and I asked his dad if I could rent him for awhile and he just laughed and said he needed him in their boat for same reason. LB

    Sig back to the Range

Back many years when our town had a garbage dump I used to strap on my Ruger Single Six 22 and go out there right about sundown and the rats would be on the feed. Would walk around and jump on wood piles and quick draw shoot them as they ran out. Got quite good at it and it was a hoot to do...

    Freeze

Garden is done until next year so let the killing temps come. Maybe kill some of those dammed gnats. For something so little they are the worst for biting I have ever seen. The itch and swelling will last a week or more if I get bit. LB

I get those seeds from Gurneys and start them my self. They are not cheap at 9.99 for 10 seeds. The fruit are not tiny, about the size of a ping pong ball and not a true red color.
