Alkaline lake ice conditions?

Anyone been out to alkaline over by Dawson? Curious what the ice is like, I’d like to take 4 wheeler out and am torn if I should go to alkaline where I am familiar with the lake or head to horsehead instead, which I’ve never fished.

Please, please, PLEASE don’t fish it unless you’re a local!! Only locals know how to!! Everyone else just ruins it.

Made it out there yesterday, caught 3 fish but lake was busy and I didn’t particularly like my spot but was lazy. About 11 inches of ice but there is a huge bump on the boat ramp.
