Davey may be thinking about the same thing as me but I believe a grass land easement is about the same thing but gives you more flexibility. Say you buy a quarter with 20 acres of slough plant grass on the good land that can be hayed or grazed and still have good cover in the slough areas.
I have a commercial simplicity 28 inch. It is a stud throws snow 40 feet. Might be a little pricey at $2800 but will last my lifetime all metal parts no plastic.
