    Based on this current map, snowpack doing ok right now...hopefully the next 90 days she keeps moving in the right direction. I'd sure like to see us move into another wet cycle, even if only for a short time!

    ^^Alan^^, above you mentioned not being familiar with the Pro XS Merc - my 2019 Impact had a 150 Pro XS. Ran it 5 seasons...never had a single issue...maybe I got lucky! Last year bought a 19ft G3 with a 200 Yamaha VF on it. So far...so good. But like you said, Merc and Yamaha sell so many...

    Any ice reports?

    Buddy and I fished Audubon, Turtle Lake ramp area, Friday afternoon. Walked out 400 - 500 yards, checked ice as we went...found 5 - 6 inches everywhere we cut. Caught a few fish, decent first trip out...be nice if the winds got our memo and sat down...guess not!

    Losing my best friend.

    Gosh that is tough Aaron, no words can lesson the feeling of loss...so sorry man. Last May we put down our 17 year old fox terrier...had him since he was a pup...one of the hardest things I ever had to do. We rescued an 8 week old staffy/boxer/mastiff mix last August, he's 1 now and we love him...

    ** 5/25/2024 Update: Buddy and I went back to New Town Saturday - put in at the casino ramp, on the water at 1030. Once again started on east shoreline points 2 to 4 miles south of the ramp.
