    Our dollars are stretched thin, but not the state of ND! This isnt citizens asking for a handout. Its them asking for their f'ing money back because the state isnt entitled to hoard as much as they can. And then local gov raises our taxes. There is a distribution problem here.

    Good discussion, but i think the main point that needs to be brought back into focus here is that the state has surplus funds, while our taxes are increasing. Thats called gouging.

    I am 36 and grew up in Minot. Spent alot of time in Bismarck and even as a teenager realized how bad it was. Back then I associated alot of it with a LOT of old people pulling out in front, driving under speed limit, lane cutting people off, not getting up to speed of traffic on I94 on ramps...

    Bought one from Sams 4 years ago, have stained it once but it desperately needs it again. I tighten some of the lag bolts up in the spring but its holding up well. 2 ft corkscrew anchors in the corners has held it in place. Kids seem to like it. Assembly was a B$%^&, and took me a good 3-4 days...
