Bought a JD 4066r about 5 years ago with JD's 0% financing. Got a cab, loader, snowblower, mower, post hole digger, rake, box blade and backhoe attachments. Best investment I've made, things a workhorse and the cab is a must in the winter.
That isn't the case here either. We've gone from 50-60 hour weeks to just 4 10 hour days and 3 day weekends and they still don't want to show up and work!
Last guy we hired was here for 6 weeks and never put a full week in during that time. Was either late or didn't show up at all. Every excuse in the book and then he actually quit before I could fire him because we're desperate for help. It's just a different mentality now days with society.
Finding people to work at all is very difficult. Our company has been looking for all kinds of jobs for the last 2-3 years and we offer good wages and benefits. Most people applying don't even return phone calls or show up for interviews. It's like they are only applying to prove they are...
Never heard of this "Protect our winters" BS! How many of these damn "non-profits" trying to protect our planet do we need? JFC strip their 501 schemes and see how many will survive on their own!
Where do most people get on the lake at? And where do you start going about finding fish on that big lake? I mean is there certain things to look for as far as structure? Just curious as I've never been up there but would like to someday.
What if your log is full of shit except you don't ever catch anything? Just keep going to new spots and writing down more useless shit?? Asking for a friend...
What kind of trees are they? Guessing either chinese elm or cottonwoods. Wonder if cutting them off about 5-6 feet above ground would generate new growth and or allow smaller suckers or shrubs to take over? Just a thought.
Lol guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. The ramps, docks and cleaning stations are paid for with tax dollars or hunting/fishing/boat/camper license fees. Seriously where does all that money go if not for supporting these infrastructures? I guess you just like being bent over
Yes but what's that have to do with your comment about the reservations? Of course everything's expensive, what's that have to do with paying to use public property I've already paid for??
Not exactly, we paid to put the natives there now it's there's to do as they wish. I'd be all for just taking it all back and getting rid of this sovereign nation BS though.
My problem is they've been built and are kept up with tax dollars already why the need to double or in some cases triple dip from the public? JFC we are taxed to death and now we need to pay to use the shit we've been taxed for too?? It's gotten out of hand!
Well hopefully the Vikes draft a QB and he pans out. Cousins isn't worth $45M/yr. Hell none of these guys are it's gotten insane. Atlanta won't win a SB with him either. He showed he's all about the money and not serious about winning. Need a guy that knows you need a team around you to win.
Public land should be open to the public. Make in walk in access only but there is no reason to close it entirely. These public entities need to start realizing who they serve, the public!
This is really messed up IMO. They had these emails for 6 months but they don't inform the public until after they decide not to charge anyone? Seems too convenient to me. Can't wait to see what's in those emails, if we ever get to see them I guess. The more I hear about this the more I think...
I've caught bullheads thru the ice. About a month ago on Ashtray there was a school of bullheads that swam under our holes about 8 feet below the ice over 18 foot of water. Thought they were crappies on the flasher until we looked down the holes and saw these huge bullheads slowly swimming thru.
