    I’ve tried it a couple different ways, turned out good, but no comparison to traditional fried. Had a medium priced TFal (I think) brand nd thought a better one would help so bought a Cuisinart. Guess I’ll die a couple months earlier from fried food.

    When I’ve done skin off(salmon) it I’d rinse well and not brine it as long as it seems to get too salty. My go to is 3-1-1 brown sugar, white sugar, salt. 24 to 36 hr skin on, 12 to 18 skin off

    DeWalt K-Drill - 3 Season Review

    Using a 7.5 k drill with the 40v strike master power head, works well. I too have burned up a Dewalt with the clam plate using the kdrill and am hoping using the SM powernead will last, seems good so far.

    I fill a couple 1 gal jugs from the lake and use that to change water. Keep them in a bait cooler in garage and set the cooler outside every once in awhile. It’s not the $4 a scoop, but the convenience of not having to stop.
